Leilani Gryde is a 20 year-old rising star from the Big Island of Hawaii. At the age of 15, she already had a Nationals title under her belt and was off to a successful career in surfing. Now residing in California, she has one objective in mind: to qualify for the WCT. In competition, she’s a stubborn perfectionist, but out of the water, “Lei” is loyal, trustworthy and has a knack for building a family out of her support ream. Leilani’s combination of natural talent and a stellar work ethic is proving successful. Look for big things to come from Oakley’s Leilani Gryde.
